If your bill has an asterisk in the type of service heading this web page can provide the meter correction factor used on your meter readings this month.
The asterisk on the bill indicates the meter readings have had a pressure and/or temperature correction factor applied to calculate the actual usage shown on the bill. The gas meter correction factor is required only for those gas meters that are not self-correcting; generally larger gas meters.
To obtain the meter correction factor select the month and year of the later read date, and select the rate code shown on the bill in look up tables provided below.
The uncorrected metered usage for the billing period is calculated by dividing the usage on the bill by the meter correction factor listed. This value should match the uncorrected usage determined by taking the difference between the current and previous meter readings shown on the bill.
